MDS are proud to be part of this beautiful project with Active Leisure Centres. We ensured Yate Swimming Pool stayed open during our painting operation by working in night shifts to allow pool usage during the day. The work required multiple layers of specialist paints to achieve the desired outcomes. See that outcome below for yourself in contrast with how we started the work. Councillor Ian Blair of South Gloucestershire Council, said: “I am delighted to open these wonderfully refurbished pool facilities, which are a huge asset for Yate and the surrounding area. The £1.4 million investment by the council will mean that generations of swimmers will now be able to enjoy this pool for years to come.”
Our overnight access allowed local users to continue to swim during the day. We always strive for minimal impact!

MDS have completed many painting projects for us and all have been at a reasonable cost, completed to a high standard and completed on time.
One of the first projects was to complete the interior scheme in our fitness and reception areas as part of a £3.5 million development at Bradley Stoke Lifestyle Centre.
Matt subsequently won a tender for specialist work to repaint the Yate swimming pool. This was a mammoth task involving scaffold and the boarding over of the swimming pool at height. The pool had to remain open during the day and with painting by night. In 3 weeks the pool ceiling had 3 coats of specialist paint resulting in a brilliant white ceiling.
MDS painting and decorating has been instrumental in providing first class commercial decoration services to Circadian Trust over the past 8 years, and we will continue to work in partnership with Matt and his team on new developments in the future.
